Test BLS listing (title override)
The American heart association’s HeartCode Basic life support (BLS in short) Course has been updated to reflect new science in the 2025 American Heart Association Guidelines Update for CPR and Emergency Cardiovascular Care. This video-based, blended course teaches both single-rescuer and team based basic life support skills for application in both in-facility and prehospital settings. AHA team shows a topic on video and tests you on the app. Once you clear the exam, you will have to schedule a hands-on skills Practice and test with an AHA instructor in the class.
Target Audience & Eligibility
Medical staff (For Non-medical people, AHA India recommends First aid CPR AED course).
Mandatory Precourse Tasks & Preparation
- Book a slot : Multiple schedules might be available on Medcourse website
- Collect online course material : Official preparation materials will be given once you pay in full.
- Online completion certificate : BLS has 2 components. Finish online theory part and testing and collect certificate. You will not be allowed for skill test without it.
Course Day Checklist & Attire
- Schedule : Choose a schedule for offline hands-on training and testing.
- Be on time : Multiple candidates might be scheduling on same day. So, it'll go on with or without you. Late entries will not be allowed.

Recertification & Renewal
After 2 years, you will contact nearest AHA ITC or Medcourse for assistance in finding an ITC for renewal.
